Communicable Disease

In order to identify and contain outbreaks of communicable diseases such as pertussis, tuberculosis and food borne illnesses, the Logan County Health District, in compliance with state and federal regulations, maintains surveillance, investigates, and reports certain communicable diseases. Control and prevention measures are implemented as needed.
