There are over 30 licensed public swimming pools and spas in Logan County. Private residential pools are not licensable as long as they only serve a one, two, or three- family dwelling and no fees are charged for non-family use.

New public pools must contact the Ohio Department of Health for initial plan review before applying for a license with the local health district.
